To advance the Republic of Ireland’s National Inspection Plan by identifying top-down (governance) and bottom-up (engagement) pathways towards higher levels of septic tank remediation to generate positive outcomes for water quality, the environment, and ultimately public health. 

Project updates

The REMARC project is now complete. Sincere thanks to all our interview and survey participants. We are now working through disseminating the research findings in various outputs.
